Also known as Ergonomic assessment. This is a service in which a trained set of eyes will evaluate work spaces for potential injury causing situations. Recommendations are then made to economically correct the situation. The purpose is to reduce potential injuries of the worksite. Examples: office staff who work on computers all day and may develop neck pain or carpal tunnel Syndrome. Or an assembly line environment in which the workers are using their arms constantly while standing stationary on a concrete floor. A jobsite analysis can lower the injury risks for employer’s and staff.
